Kevin has been preparing tax returns since he was 14 years old (his father is a CPA). He graduated from Oregon State University in 1995 with a BA in Accounting and then attended the University of Denver on a merit scholarship where he graduated with his Masters in Income Tax.
Kevin’s first position was with Moss Adams LLP in 1996 where he rose to the position of Tax Manager prior to leaving in 2000.
Kevin started his own firm in 2004 specializing in income tax preparation and accounting. His in-depth company experience brings a valuable understanding of the issues faced by the firm’s business clients along with innovative business solutions to meet those challenges.
In addition, Kevin helped his wife build her highly successful dental practice from the ground up. He has used this experience to help other dental practitioners and healthcare providers achieve similar success in their businesses.

William is a Portland native and has been an accountant for almost twenty years. William graduated from Abilene Christian University in 1997 with a BA in Accounting and started his career in the Dallas Texas office of Grant Thornton, LLP. He has also worked for the international accounting firm KPMG, IBM, Inc and several other regional and local CPA firms in the Portland area.
In 2013, William partnered with another CPA to start a firm specializing in income tax preparation for businesses and individuals. He also has significant experience in Assurance Services, including Audits, Reviews and Compilations of financial statements, as well as forensic data analysis.

Daniel has over six years of GAAP experience in public and private accounting. He received his Bachelors of Business Administration and Accounting from the McCoy College of Business at Texas State University. Daniel will also receive his Masters in Accounting with an emphasis on Tax from Kaplan University in May 2017. He is also currently pursuing his CPA license.
Daniel has extensive experience in the healthcare industry. As Staff Accountant for Generations LLC, Daniel had accounting responsibility for six separate retirement communities in different states. Included in this responsibility was the rollout of new financial and payroll software packages, including the training of directors and staff in a number of retirement communities. In addition, Daniel has worked as the accounting manager for a large medical practice.
Daniel’s in depth organization experience includes accounting, tax management in real estate, manufacturing, construction, non-profit, and software. Daniel also has experience in forensic accounting.
Originally from El Paso, Texas, Daniel started umpiring at the age of ten, working his way up to being the youngest softball umpire in the NCAA. Also, an entrepreneur from a young age, he has started several of his own businesses throughout his life. Daniel moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2012, and married his native Oregonian wife, Hannah, in 2014.
Daniel has lived in Haiti, Dominican Republic, Russia, and India and speaks fluent Spanish.

2020 will be Michael’s 15th tax season and 11th tax season as a Certified Public Accountant. Michael graduated Cum Laude from Colorado State University in 2005 with a double major in Accounting and Finance. He later received his Masters in Accounting from the University of Oregon in 2008.
Michael’s professional work experience started at the largest local accounting firm in Northern Colorado- Sample and Bailey CPA’s PC where in two years he obtained the position of tax supervisor. During his 2nd year of graduate school, Michael worked at Isler CPA, a well-respected local midsized CPA firm in Eugene, OR. In August of 2009, Michael joined Kevin’s firm in Portland, OR as a Tax Manager. In January of 2015 Kevin and Michael formed the partnership Sundberg Nicks CPAs, LLC.
Michael specializes in Reviews and Compilations of financial statements, as well as financial statement analysis. Since 2007, Michael has worked with numerous businesses in various industries providing them with innovative real world performance solutions to their accounting and tax problems.
Michael enjoys spending time with his wife Koi and kids: Kai, Noah and Sloane. In true Portland style, Michael has also become somewhat of a coffee enthusiast and never misses an early morning cup.
